Open horizontal laminar flow clean benches that wash the work zone with filtered air flowing from the rear towards the operator, for processes harmless to the operator; specified by work zone size and placed by the buyer.
Description
A horizontal laminar flow bench draws room air through a pre-filter and a HEPA stage and delivers it as a horizontal laminar flow across the work zone, from the rear of the bench towards the operator. The clean air barrier carries particles away from the work surface and keeps the zone at class 100 cleanliness. The open design has no front sash, which keeps operation and access easy and the noise level low; the air passes over the work and towards the operator's face, so the bench suits work that is harmless to people - mushroom and plant cultivation, electronics assembly, precision machining and food handling - and is not intended for hazardous materials. A removable pre-filter keeps the airflow stable and maintenance simple, and the bench runs on a standard single-phase supply.
