Description
A chemical filter unit is a fan-powered air handling unit built around a sealed plenum and slide-out filter modules. The housing is powder-coated cold-rolled steel - the diffuser plate can be stainless steel - acid-washed and powder-coated for corrosion resistance, so the unit stays light and rigid. Each filter stage is sealed against the housing, and the stage resistance is 0-500 Pa depending on the filter combination. Filter stages are combined per project: primary, medium, HEPA, activated carbon, chemical filter, ionizer or ozone generator. Fans and airflow are configured to the project, with models covering 1700 to 6800 m3/h in the source table. The compact layout runs at low noise and the slide-out modules make replacement straightforward.
