Slim-profile fan filter units (EFU)
Ultra-thin fan filter units about half the depth of a standard FFU for equipment-end local filtration in clean plants, bought where ceiling or equipment void space is limited and chemical outgassing must stay low.
Description
An EFU is a slim fan filter unit for local zones inside a clean plant. The unit is about half the thickness of a conventional FFU, typically 130 mm, so it fits where space above the process is limited. An internal duct shaped with CFD simulation keeps face velocity uniform with low structural pressure loss and low noise. The unit takes an AC or EC motor with high static pressure and low energy use, filters with a HEPA stage rated 99.99% or more at 0.3 um, and is built so the filter can be changed without dismantling the whole unit.
